A few words
I'm suffering from a sincere case of .. not the blues. I don't even know what colour I am today. Not black either. Or even the mean reds. What colour is wanderlust, mixed with a hint of frustration and a dash of melancholia? - Well what ever that colour is thats what I'm feeling. It's not a bad feeling. But not a good one either.
I'm tugging on an electric cigarette trying to find some thoughts. Some words. And I find myself writing about what a struggle it can be. Me. I'm frustrated that there isn't more. Whilst of course I know there is much. So much. I feel disenchanted with the world, yet the world has never seemed so small as it has to me the last couple of months. I'm tired. Sleep. I'll bang this drum again tomorrow.

Wanderlust
I'm having a dramatic case of wanderlust. Perhaps it is is this little room that I have moved in to in Kensal Rise. Perhaps it is the fact that each day I am faced with something bigger than the world as I know it. I love working for the Olusegun Obasanjo Foundation, it makes me feel like maybe, just perhaps I am doing my little bit. Each day I am faced with the vastness of the continent. The huge expanse that just makes me feel so utterly insignificant whilst also placing me in the world. I suppose in some ways it makes me feel like more of the world is in my reach than ever. Like the sky. I can see it, but can't touch it. I can feel the breeze as I might catch accents and observe from affair, but only when I stretch my wings and take flight will I really be amidst the sky. And only there do you meet other sky larks. You can't wait for them to come to you. You must dive deep, soar high, see clearly and bang on your drum softly and slowly.
